Rates cover the 2016/17 to 2025/26 tax years. England, Wales and Northern Ireland: standard PAYE income tax rates. Scotland: Scottish rates as set by the Scottish Government (2016/17–2017/18 Scotland matched England rates; 5-band system introduced 2018/19; 6-band system from 2024/25). National Insurance (Class 1 employee) is UK-wide. 2022/23 NI uses the July 2022 aligned primary threshold; 2023/24 uses the January 2024 reduced rate of 10%. Personal allowance tapers on adjusted net income above £100,000. Pension calculations assume Relief at Source; NI is not reduced by RAS contributions. Student loan thresholds are approximate and change each April — verify at gov.uk. This calculator does not account for marriage allowance, gift aid, or other reliefs. Figures are estimates — consult a tax adviser for your specific circumstances.
